11th to 14th Grade
Trials As this year the season ‘kicks’ off on the 9th of April we need to
get trials underway as soon a possible. Although all registered players will be
placed in a team for the season it is important that if a player wishes to have
a chance to be graded into the A team they must attend the trails noted below.
If a player cannot attend the trails at the times stated please don’t hesitate
to contact me (contact details below). All the trail games will be held at
Somerfield Park. After each trail finishes please make sure that you tell
your coach or the player development officer that you’re leaving.

2005 SUPER YOUTH MATCH REPORT
Cashmere scored 7 goals but went down 5-3 !! Application has been put into
Mainland Soccer to change the name of our entry into the Super Youth League to
“Own-goal United” following 4 own goals favoring the Boys High Team. That aside
there were some determined goals scored for Cashmere by Ricardo, Vinisious and
Evan, where they took on the CBHS defence and hammered shots past the keeper.
Our defence struggled for most of the early part of the game but tactical change
soon brought results. The midfield toiled away and we came out of the game with
a bit to work on. Next Game Sunday at Somerfield Park v Burnside United, kick
off 10.30. Ron Veitch Coach

2005 SUPER YOUTH The Super
Youth League kicks off for the new Cashmere United Squad on 30th April with a
home match to Burnside High School. This year the lads will play at 12.00 on
Saturdays, with our home ground being Somerfield Stadium.
Near capacity crowds are
expected so make sure that you get in early for your season pass or you may be
resigned to watching their games on the telly.
The first three games are Home
to BHS, Home to Burnside Club, Away to St Andrews.
This will be a strong league this
year and we are determined to compete well and strongly in every match. Our new
strip also reflects the Cashmere United entry being Blue and Gold. Our
invitation goes out to all Junior and Senior members of both Cashmere Wanderers
and Christchurch United to come along and watch the lads play on Saturdays.
