CWAFC Annual General Meeting
Our club AGM will be held at 7.30 pm on Wednesday 22nd November at the Cashmere
Club. You are all invited so please come along. As previously advised we are
looking for several new committee members for next season. With over 700 junior
members it is essential that we have a good number of people on the committees
to help with the load. Please give this some thought as many hands make light
work. It is a great committee to be involved in and we welcome whatever help you
can give. We are particularly looking for people who have skills in marketing,
sponsorship and/or event management but don’t let this limit you, all members
are welcome to contribute as committee members. Please contact Barbara Turner on

Howzat Indoor Sports Centre
With the winter months out of the way the time for social indoor soccer is now
upon us and Tim Bush is running the junior soccer competitions through the
summer weeks. Tim has a special emphasis on the Friday afternoon soccer
competition down at Howzat Indoor Sports Centre on Matipo Street and would enjoy
having your company to play indoor soccer at Howzat with your mates. The
facilities and people at Howzat are fantastic and with a number of other clubs
signing up teams for this competition it should be a good one. So get a team
together (around 5-8 players in each team) and come on down to Matipo Street
Howzat to join the fun. If you need anymore information please don't hesitate to
