10 May 2007 Level 1 Referee Course Starts Wednesday 16 May, English Park NO COST Want to put something back into the game or take up refereeing as a sport, but not sure where to start. Here’s a fantastic opportunity to undertake the Level 1 Referee Course. Learn the laws of the game with experienced Referee Educators including experienced referee and Mainland Referee Development Officer Wayne Stapley. 9 May 2007 Coach Selected David Fortin, of Christchurch, is one of 10 New Zealand sports coaches selected from 115 entries to attend the SPARC connecting coaching convention in Wellington from May 25-27. Fortin coaches softball, soccer and basketball. Through Sparc and Powerade the competition offered passes worth $900 to the convention. David has also recently passed successfully his NZ Referee badge and is now an NZ official Ref! He coaches The Cheetahs 8th grade for our Club! WELL DONE DAVID!!!
