CWAFC AGM
The Club AGM will be held on Monday 29 October at 7.30 pm at the Cashmere
Club. Please come along and show your support for the Club and the Committee –
the meetings don’t take long and it is your chance to have a say in how the Club
is run.
On that note, we are looking for volunteers to join the Committee next year.
The Committee meets once a month for a couple of hours in the evening to make
sure everything is running smoothly and to make important decisions about the
future direction of the Club. We need MORE PEOPLE to become involved in what is
becoming one of the largest Clubs in Christchurch with over 800 members. At the
moment, the job of running the Club largely falls on 3 - 4 of us who volunteer
our time. It would be great if we could have some more HELP! We are looking for
people who are prepared to get stuck in and organise gear, teams, competitions
etc. as well as people with business skills who can help us to maintain the
strategic focus of the Club. If you and your children enjoyed this season, and
you want to see the Club continue in good heart, PLEASE give serious thought to
getting involved in the Committee – it is good fun and very rewarding!
