CWAFC AGM The Club's AGM will be on Thursday 27 November 2008, 8.00pm at the Cashmere Club. We need volunteers to help run the Club. Being involved as a Committee member means attending meetings (approximately once a month during the year) and being responsible for co-ordinating an area of the Club's operation (e.g., gear, newsletter, results, in-house competition, starters programme etc.). If you don't want to (or can't) become involved as a Committee member, there are other ways to help out - for example; managing a team during the season coaching a team during the season assisting with gear working bees (1 morning at the beginning and end of season) assisting with running the photo session and end of year prize giving fundraising (e.g., identifying fundraising or sponsorship opportunities) assisting with registration days It would be great if we could have a larger pool of volunteers to call on so that the burden doesn't fall on the same people each year! If you are interested, come along to the AGM or send us an email with your contact details.
