Although summer hardly seems to have started, the football season is nearly upon us! Here are details of key dates for you to note for the upcoming season;

Registration

Registration will take place at the Cashmere Club on the following two dates

Sunday 21^nd February 2010                   9.30am - 1pm

Wednesday 24^th February 2010             5pm – 8pm

New members must register in person and bring a copy of their birth certificate or passport. Existing members have the option of registering and paying online.

Anderson & Hill will be there on the Sunday with socks, shorts and other gear for sale. The “Bootman” will also be there on the Sunday, with a large range of second-hand boots for sale as well as other gear. He will also buy old boots in good condition.

2010 trial dates for Division 1 and 2 teams (10^th grade and above)

All trials will be held at Somerfield Park.

All players wanting to play in 1^st or 2^nd division teams should attend one or more of the trials listed above. If you can’t attend, please contact Fred Simpson as soon as possible by email or phone , ph 021 756 005 or 329 9039.

Details are also on the website. Details of any further trials or assessments will be provided following the dates listed above.

Season start dates

Season kicks off for 10^th Grade and above on Saturday 17 April 2010 (note this is the last weekend of the school holidays).

We haven’t finalised the start date for the Development Grade/ and Starters (midgets) yet but it is likely to be Saturday 24 April.

Gear return

If you still have any Cashmere Wanderers playing strip (shirts, jackets, bags) please return it asap as we will soon be sorting out gear for the new season. You can drop it (in a named bag) at the Cashmere Club or contact Linda by email arrange return.
