Hi to all members

This is just a short newsletter as a few events are coming up you may need to know about.

AGM

The Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 1 December. 7.30pm at the Cashmere Club. We will be electing new Committee members and also updating everyone on progress regarding the issues discussed at the recent SGM, including possible merger options. Please come along and support your club!

Somerfield Sixes

There has been a very good initial turnout for this completely free after school playing option. However there is always room for more so come along and bring a friend. Details are on our web site.

Summer Development Programme

As well as the Somerfield Sixes playing options, there will again be the opportunity for our 9, 10 and 11 year olds to work on their individual technical development on a Wednesday at Somerfield Park. All players looking to play in next seasons’ 10th, 11th and 12th grades at a competitive level are invited to register using the Summer Development Form. The programme will run through to the terms end. Please contact Fred Simpson by  email for information.

Junior Club Trials

Trials for next seasons 1st, 2nd and 3rd division sides at 10th through to 18th grades will start at the beginning of February. Full details of times and dates will be on our web site in January.

Holiday Programme

There will be a holiday programme also at Somerfield Park on the week commencing 24th January. Full details will be on our web site during December.

Representative Players

Congratulations to all players that made the various representative sides playing in the South Island Tournaments. It was undoubtedly our clubs best ever level of representation.

Congratulations

Well done to our President Chris Selbie. He was recently recognised for his dedication to the Cashmere Wanderers and was nominated for the Presidents Award for Services to Football awarded by Mainland Football.
