Happy New Year to all members!

We trust you had a relaxing and enjoyable Christmas and New Year. Although summer is still in full swing, the winter sports season is just around the corner and we need to let you know about some important dates coming up in January and February.

Special General Meeting (SGM)

Following on from the motion passed at the AGM, the Executive is calling a Special General Meeting for Wednesday January 26, 7.30pm at the Cashmere Club .This is an important meeting as we will be voting on a Heads of Agreement outlining the basis of a proposed merger with Woolston Tech. Please come along and hear what is proposed and have your say!

January 2011 Holiday Programme

Fred will be running a holiday programme during the week commencing 24th January. There will be two sessions – morning (10am – 12pm for years 6 to 8) and afternoon (1pm – 5pm for years 9-14) at Somerfield Park. Full details (including registration forms) are on our website.

2011 Season Trials

Trials for next seasons 1st, 2nd and 3rd division sides at 10th through to 15th grades will start at the beginning of February as follows

All trials will be held at Somerfield Park.

Full details of times and dates are also on our website. If further trials are needed, dates will be on website by 13th February.

Trial dates for youth teams will also be advised on our website.

Please note that players selected for Division 1 teams will have to be registered with the Club by Monday 14 March 2011.

Registration

Once again, there will be two registration days where you can come down to the Cashmere Club and sign up for the 2011 season. The dates are Sunday 20 February (9.30 am – 1 pm) and Wednesday 23 February (5.00pm – 8.00pm) at the Cashmere Club. Online registrations will be available again but we will only be accepting payment by credit card or online banking.

Due to the early start to the season, all players must be registered and subs paid by 31 March 2011 at the latest.

2011 Season Start Dates

Mainland competition (i.e.10th grades and above) will start on Saturday 2nd April 2011. In house and starters – to be advised
