30 January 2011 ' Outcome of Special General Meeting At the SGM held on Wednesday 26 January, members voted by majority to approve the motion authorising the Executive to enter into a Heads of Agreement with Christchurch Technical (Woolston Tech). The Executive will now appoint representatives to an establishment committee that will work towards creating a new joint entity for the 2012 season and both Clubs will work collaboratively together for the 2011 season. Ricki Herbert Football Academy The Ricki Herbert Football Academy is holding a two and a half day skill based training course at Parklands on 11th,12th and 13th of February. This is a fantastic opportunity for your child to start the 2011 season with a winning advantage. 13 January 2011 Special General Meeting Wednesday 26 January 2011, 7.30 p.m. Venue: Heathcote Room, Cashmere Club, 88 Hunter Terrace, Christchurch. Notice of Motion for Special General Meeting 'That the Executive of Cashmere Wanderers AFC be authorised by the membership to enter into a Heads of Agreement with Woolston Tech to create a combined club entity for the 2011 playing season in accordance with the Heads of Agreement document circulated to members and posted in the member’s area of the club website. The Executive are authorised to take all actions necessary to form the new entity including appointing representatives to the establishment board, approving financial contributions and any other decisions required to give effect to the new club formation. In the event the Executive determines that the proposed time frame is not practicable, it may, with the agreement of Woolston Technical, defer the timeframe for commencement to the 2012 playing season.' printable version...

2011 Season Trials Trials for next seasons 1st, 2nd and 3rd division sides at 10th through to 15th grades will start at the beginning of February as follows note changes in red
All trials will be held at Somerfield Park. Full details of times and dates are also on our website. If further trials are needed, dates will be on website by 13th February. Trial dates for youth teams will also be advised on our website. Please note that players selected for Division 1 teams will have to be registered with the Club by Monday 14 March 2011
